An atlas of Polish jazz
A map of people, records, scenes and improvisation, meant to be both a starting point and an invitation to deeper listening.
Polish Jazz Atlas grew from a simple conviction: Polish jazz is one of the most distinctive voices in European music, yet there is no single place that brings it together into one living whole. Not an album, not a playlist, but a map of connections.
Instead of a dry catalogue we build editorial introductions, curated listening paths, a timeline and a collaboration constellation. We want someone who has never heard of Komeda or Stańko to begin with a single click, and an expert to find new connections.
The project is non-commercial and built on open sources. We care about data honesty: we mark confidence levels, cite sources and do not invent facts. You will find the details in the Data and sources section.
